Is it cheaper to buy Orlando attraction tickets in advance?

We are going to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Seaworld & Universal Studios next week. Could anyone recommend whether it's cheaper to buy these tickets at the gate or online before we go? Is there a multi-ticket that covers just these? So confused by all the options and wary of dodgy companies! Would appreciate advice from someone whose done it!
