What is your understanding / interpretation of my poem? Thanks to all who participate?

Its not a bad poem by itself. I'm guessing you went to Ireland (great place, I went there too and had a blast, the look from the top of the Guinness brewery is awesome) and met a guy while there, had some fun and then had to come back home, but you fell in love with him. You're an ocean away from him now and the realities of an actual relationship are setting in. Your friend, tainted by her own relationship wasn't very supportive. You need love and you aren't finding it in your current environment which is now seeming stale and you are becoming stir-crazy and wanting to explore beyond your usual territory....... Have I hit anything there?
